Preliminary identificaton of non-fastidious enteric bacteria on Endo agar with biochemical slope. Tested properties: utilization of lactose, sucrose, mannitol, cellobiose and glucose (with or without gas production), hydrogen sulfide production and urea hydrolysis (urease activity).
